Where do soap nuts come from?
Soap nuts come from the Soap nut or soapberry tree. While it is found in many countries but the most effective and popular variety Sapindus Mukorossi is primarily found in the wild forests of Nepal. Commercial farming has also started these days but most of the soap nuts from Nepal are harvested from the wild forests by local co-ops and collectors.
